How Young Students in Nigeria are being discipled into Christ

“pAIS EXIST TO SPARK A GLOBAL MOVEMENT WHERE THE SAINT’S PRIMARY CONCERN IS TO ADVANCE THE KINGDOM OF gOD IN THEIR COMMUNITIES”

In 2016 a brave team of young missionaries stormed Lagos Nigeria after their training in Accra Ghana to spearhead the movement. They were young people who have made up their minds to reach out to the young students in the schools and their host communities.

After one pais year, the testimonies coming from the field, the churches and host communities remains an amazement. Students receive direct mentoring in their campuses, youths are mentored and connected back to the churches and many others learn how to use their gifts and talents to share their faith with others and glorify God.

DISCIPLESHIP
“Beyond Education to Experience”
A Pais missionary mentors students using the Talmidim Flow! A method of mentoring where the mentee is taken on an experience and then he is made to question and reflect on what has occurred while the mentor goes ahead to explain and unpack the principles behind such occurrences and what God would rather want the mentee too learn from such experiences!

TEAMS
Pais Nigeria partners with churches by placing a team of young missionaries in each partnering church for a period of 10 months. During this period, the team works with the youths in the schools and communities by providing Haverim Devotions (HD) sessions in assemblies, fellowship time and student clubs, they also disciple the students through biweekly mentoring sessions using the flow template. Finally, the team trains the students on how to share their faith with their fellow students by taking them on local missions in the school all in a bid to bridge the gap between the schools and churches
